About the Competition

Science Star League for Schools 2025 is an innovative scientific competition organized by Science Street for children aged 12 to 15. The league aims to discover and nurture students’ talents in Science Communication, training them to present complex scientific ideas in a simple and engaging way through videos and live stage presentations in front of a jury and a real audience.

Participating schools have the opportunity to develop students’ critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills, while showcasing their school as a hub of interactive learning and scientific innovation. Students receive intensive training, media exposure, and the chance to participate in the grand final on stage with Abdullah Anan.

Terms & Conditions

  • Participation is through schools only, not individuals.
  • Each school can register 3 to 50 students, with 2 supervisors.
  • School registration and subscription request must be submitted by 30 December 2025.
  • Adherence to competition timelines: orientation sessions, video submission, training, stage presentations, and final ceremony.
  • Students must submit original science videos following the competition guidelines.
  • Prizes are awarded based on scientific content, presentation skills, creativity, and audience engagement.
  • Commitment to training sessions and participation in the final stage is required.
  • Any breach of the terms may result in disqualification of the school or student.

Fill Registration Form

Complete the online registration form with school and student details

Pay Subscription Fee

Based on number of students.

Confirmation

After payment and form submission, the Science Street team will send an official confirmation.

Attend Orientation

Attend the first online orientation and the second offline session according to the assigned dates and locations.

Scientific Content

Accuracy of information, simplification of concepts, and relevance to real life.

Presentation Skills

Clarity of voice, body language, organization of ideas, and confidence.

Innovation & Creativity

Using creative methods such as storytelling, hands-on experiments, or simple tools to explain the concept.

Engagement & Impact

Ability to engage the audience, involve participants, and inspire others through the talk or video.

Schools register; first 10 schools get an internal activation competition with Abdullah Anan.

Orientation

Until 31 Jan 2026

Guidance for students and mentors on topic selection, research, content structuring, and storytelling

Video Submission

Until 7 Feb 2026

Submit engaging science videos simplifying ideas and concepts.

Semifinal Training

10 Feb – End of Feb 2026

Hands-on training for selected students.

Talk on Stage

13 Mar 2026

Students present their Science Talk; 1 student per school selected for the final.

Final Ceremony

After Eid – End of Mar 2026

Live presentations; top 3 winners announced and awarded.
